A creator of short films full of surprising formal inventions, Jin Angdoo has been exploring new creative media for several years: textiles, paper, but also painting in the public space, notably with the Moderne Jazz collective, of which Alexis Poline is also a member. On the walls or on paper, the latter plays with shapes and colours that he wants to be simple, radical and modular. Together, after a week’s creative residency at Coco Velten, they cross their worlds in a joint and original production dedicated to plants, and imagined for Laterna magica.
