During a month, Roméo Julien transformed the Studio Fotokino into his own summer studio. A residency which enabled him to occupy the space, enjoying its light and coolness. In this unusual work space, he developed a research on landscape using a unique creative media, a wooden panel, built in situ, where a dozen different paintings evolved in the course of weeks, each new composition covering the previous one.
The result of this work-in-progress was shown to the public as part of the “Saison du dessin” (The Drawing Season), an artistic event in Marseille that takes place on the first week-end of September.
