It has already been thirteen years since the first edition of Laterna magica took place. That's a long way from 2004! In many ways, a lot has happened since then...
The first years' desire is only strengthened: our present-day situation makes it essential to awaken the youngest to singular artistic expressions, to sharpen their critical minds and their ability to create, to share, to welcome the unexpected. But it is also a question of keeping adults' eyes open to wonder! Here is a summary of our campaign programme.
During ten days, exhibitions, screenings, shows, meetings and workshops will take place in more than fifteen places. This 13th edition will once again reveal the work of still or moving images artists, whether emerging or established, and will weave unusual links between contemporary creation and heritage. Perhaps more than in other years, we have broadened the scope of the festival to a plurality of places, artistic practices and imaginary worlds...
