This fact have been obvious to everyone here: over the past few years, more and more artists have been moving to Marseille and the surrounding area. There are many reasons for this trend, but that's not the point: it's more a question of inviting a certain number of them to share in this Grand Salon on the begining of summer, in order to demonstrate the vitality of the graphic arts scene in Marseille.
Newcomers or long-time Marseilles residents, artists passing through or in residence for a season, we're devoting a first exhibition to them combining illustration, painting and drawing. A "first" because in the coming years, we'll be repeating this proposal from time to time to highlight the work of the many local artists working in the field of drawing and publishing.
